Thanks to my wife, I got to know this oasis today and spent my lunch break there with her. We received a friendly welcome and enjoyed an extraordinarily delicious lunch at moderate prices. So will definitely be back.

I booked a room without breakfast for 2 nights. The room was very neat. What I didn't like, however, was that I wanted to have a drink in the beer garden and was directed to a place somewhere in the garden behind the parking lot. I was asked what I wanted to drink, they would bring it to me. Then my drink came and I was rudely told that it was actually self-service. Then I was asked to pay for my room directly in advance and not on departure. This is really not good customer service and I felt very uncomfortable as a guest. Then the room can still be so great.

As a guest who often comes to the Grünes Baum, I am a bit disappointed. Wanted to reserve a table and got the answer: "Call later, we don't have time at the moment and are stressed." The reservation was accepted after another call. Update: give one more star because they reacted positively to my criticism.

Definitely 5 stars. Upper class. Correspondingly noble dishes, of course a little higher in price, but totally justified for this quality. The food was a dream. You sit beautifully in the beer garden.

On the whole it is good staff great atmosphere is great only the cook overdoes it a little with the oil. The fish platter I ate literally swam in the field. Rump steak that my partner ate with fried potatoes and vegetables because the fried potatoes are also sunk in the oil. In the price range what the food costs, I ask for a little perfection.

Was hiking in the beautiful Schuttertal for almost a week and lived in the Grüner Baum during that time. Had a lovingly furnished, very clean apartment in the guest house with a large balcony and a beautiful view of the ancient Burgheim church. I always love to come here again, as the staff is very friendly and accommodating, you feel welcome. The beer garden is also wonderful, where you can relax and eat wonderfully. Will come back!

The three of us were there for dinner with the child. The food was all freshly prepared and very tasty. Would always come again, highly recommended.
